My Story

Hello, I am Arian Abdyli, here I want to tell my story and where I want to be in the future for my creative field. My story is about my improvement because I want to go in depth to how I got to where I am today compared where I was in my teens. In my teens, I had zero motivation and was very lazy in secondary school and was considering giving up on my dreams and future to where I wanted to be. Because of how bad my time at secondary school was, My dream and self-improvement would be gone in seconds. However, college gave me a second chance at achieving my dream and improving to where I am today. College gave me my full love and a creative experience in the area that I am good at which is creative media. In there, it granted me the ability to learn and hone my skills at editing and filming with the concept of making video’s that I enjoy. This then led me to create my YouTube channel and post video’s just so my friends can laugh and enjoy as well. This then led me to go to university at the University of East London where I currently study media and communication. There I get to learn how editing works in an advanced way and understand the journalistic view as well. In my first year at university, it introduced me to what the course is going to be like and how much you are going to be put in through a certain topic. My initial second year is where I failed for the first time because of the pandemic and the lack of motivation in the year as well, which led me to convince myself that I wanted to give up my degree at just work at a normal job. However, my family gave me full support to re-sit my second year and learn from my previous mistakes. There are some areas where it is interesting to learn and understand about certain topics that is media related as well as other topics such as politics, music, culture and many more. So here I am in third year and looking forward to the future and the position I am in, I feel more confident and excited about making content again and I want to start slowly and small. My target and dream is to be a content creator in a long term and improve on my skills and knowledge as I grow. My other objective is to do post-graduate when I complete my bachelor arts degree so I can get a further approach to my accolades. Maybe in the future I might become a doctor at my field of interest.
